CHOICES COMMUNITY SCREENING PROGRAM
We encourage schools, libraries and organizations to screen our films in order to educate and create a dialogue about important the issues that affect us and our communities. Many subjects and issues are not addressed in the mainstream media; independent documentaries advance the understanding of different values and points of view. We strongly believe that our documentaries help fill out this gap, and we invite you to be part of our effort to inform and enlighten our community.
Public Performance Rights are not included in the standard purchase price of a film; however, the Choices Community Screening Program allows for public and group screenings. In addition to providing a DVD of the film, we provide additional material (posters, press kits, photos, guidebooks, etc.) and will help you promote your event.
The cost of the screening depends on if admission is charged, the size of the audience and the number of screenings. You can keep the DVD after the screening(s) for private use. The film is nontransferable, and it can’t be used for additional screenings.
We understand the financial constraints that organizations are under. Screenings can be used as fundraisers for your organization if you decide to charge admission and/or sell concessions. Individual DVDs can also be sold at the event therefore providing another means to fundraise for your organization.
Whatever you decide to do, Choices will work with you to accommodate your budget and make your event a success.
